In this searing family comedy and sharp examination of modern life, a high-powered New York couple discover their only
daughter has converted to Islam. Will the Klein family ever recover or is this finally the beginning of true healing?

The reading will be held in 'The Reading Room', on the third floor of the Student Union Building
(aka Andrew White Student Union). The building also contains the bookstore and the student cafeteria, Boulder Café).
There is parking on Cold Spring Lane and Millbrook Road (near the reservoir). The athletic field is located here,
and the Student Union Building is across from the athletic field. The campus is small and the Student Union Building
will not be hard to find. There are elevators available, and the reading room is handicap accessible.
We will post signs at the entrance directing attendees to the Reading Room.

While on a picnic, a chance encounter with strangers gets out of hand, forcing one woman to
take desperate action.

COLLEEN AND KUDZO is the story of a bizarre love triangle: Colleen, her lover Dennis, and Kudzo,
her cancer. Dennis promises to love her, to stand by her and to help her conquer this terrible disease;
Kudzo promises only to tell her the truth.

A drama set in Richmond, VA in the mid 1970s. Bruce Jennings, as a colored man, has overcome every
obstruction in his way. He is a war hero who seems to have it all...money and power. But He lives in
fear that one day his wife may tell the world about his screams in the night. His screams of secrets,
if revealed, will leave him as easy prey for the sharks of the city.

Our festival is geared towards the cultivation of new and diverse plays that showcase the skills of talented
Maryland writers. The public is invited to attend our meetings on the third Tuesday of every month.
Open readings are held September through March.These readings will lead to on-stage productions in the summer
months by participating Maryland theatres.We encourage you, the theatre going public, to join us for play readings,
discussion and critiques.
